Day 1: Lima 

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Lima at the designated hotel. 

Meals: None.

 

Day 02: Lima -City Tour Lima

In the morning, we will have the best excursion to know Lima and its history. We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the "Pucllana Pyramid", magnificent ceremonial center. We visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace between others. We will enter one of the most important convents of the seventeenth century, where the relics of the three Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macías are still preserved. Day 03: Lima/Chiclayo

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to the city of Chiclayo. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will have the visit to the city of Chiclayo that for the kindness of its people is called "City of Friendship". It is considered one of the most commercial cities in the country. Within its tourist attractions we have the Plaza de Armas, Santa María Cathedral of architectural and modern lines, the Municipality adorned with windows and wide wrought iron doors, Basilica of San Antonio, Santa Veronica Church founded in 1868 unique in its kind for its structure , the main altar and the adjacent altarpiece have a coating of silver and gold leaf, the Paseo de las Muses, Republican Casonas, Plazuelas and main arteries of the city. Then we visit the Mercado Modelo de Chiclayo and the area known as the Mercado de los Brujos where you can find various potions, herbs and other implements used by shamans for their activities, this market is very attractive because it offers a variety of herbs and objects that are used in traditional medicine or "quackery", activity deeply rooted and widespread in the area. Day 04: Chiclayo - Túcume Pyramids - Royal Tombs - Sicán - Pómac

Today we will have a day full of visits to the most important cultural attractions the area that belongs to the Lambayeque region, we will start with the Túcume Pyramids are located 33 kilometers from the city of Chiclayo, is an archaeological complex at the foot of the hill "El Purgatorio" "Or also called" La Raya ", you will be able to appreciate 25 pyramids, we will also know the huacas Estacas, Mirador, Huaca Larga among others and we will also know the museum of the complex's site. Then we will go to visit the museum "The Royal Tombs of the Lord of Sipan" belonging to the pre-Inca Moche culture, has a design of a truncated pyramid, has 10 exhibition rooms within which you can appreciate among other archaeological remains the " Tombs of the Priest ", we will also appreciate objects recovered from the" Tombs Sacked "in 1987 and that were recovered. Finishing the visit to this complex we will discover "The Tombs of the Old Lord of Sipán", in the same complex we discovered another older tomb called "Old Lord of Sipan", which was an ancestor to the Lord of Sipán. At the end of our tour we will visit Sicán, located in the city of Ferreñafe, which was a culture with unique characteristics that developed after the collapse of the Mochica culture. It had as a political and religious center the Pómac Forest. The artistic manifestations and the museological exhibition of this culture stand out in the samples found in the east and west tomb of the complex. Return to the accommodation in the city of Chiclayo at the designated hotel.

Day 05: Chiclayo/Trujillo

Transfer from the hotel to the terrapuerto to board the bus in regular service that will take you to the city of Trujillo, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon for personal activities. Accommodation in Trujillo at the designated hotel.

Day 06: Trujillo - City Tour - Archaeological Museum - Huacas Sol y Luna

Today we will have a full day of visits to the most important cultural attractions in the area, we will start with the City Tour of Trujillo, appreciating the Wall, the Plazuela El Recreo, La Merced Church, the Mariscal de Orbegoso House, the Plaza Mayor and the monument of Liberty, we continue with the Plazuela Santo Domingo, then we will appreciate the House of Mayorazgo de Facalá, mansion of remarkable historical tradition that sheltered the making of the first National Flag used in Trujillo in the first proclamation of the independence of the Spanish yoke December 29, 1820. We will continue the visit with the Archaeological Museum, where archaeological remains linked to the different pre-Hispanic cultures that were developed are exhibited in the La Libertad region. The museum is located in the house Risco, famous for its patios decorated with murals. Objects of ceramics, goldsmithing, textiles and feather art stand out. Following our tour we will visit the temples of the Sun and the Moon located between the countryside and the desert, the Huaca del Sol is built with more than 100 million adobes with a height of 45 meters and the Huaca de La Luna beautiful temple consists of six buildings superimposed one on top of the other. Day 07: Trujillo - El Brujo Archaeological Complex & Lady of Cao Museum

In the morning we will go by the Pan-American Highway north of the city of Trujillo to the valley of Chicama where the largest amount of sugar is produced in the country, we will pass through several villages until we reach the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, this consists of three huacas : Cao, Departure and Prieta. In the latter, the researcher Junnius Bird found evidence of human occupation from 5000 BC a.C. In the Huaca Cao, polychrome paintings have been discovered on different levels, representing prisoners, dancers, fishing scenes, war scenes, as well as beings from the Moche mythology. It is also visited in a new museum in honor of Mrs. de Cao, a mummy belonging to a ruler of the Mochica culture, discovered by a team of archaeologists, her discovery is compared to that of the Lord of Sipán, before this discovery, it was thought that only men held high positions in ancient Peru.
