Day 01: Lima

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Lima at the designated hotel.

Day 02: Lima -City Tour Lima & Moderna & Sanctuary of Pachacamac

In the morning, we will have the best excursion to know Lima and its history. We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the "Pucllana Pyramid", magnificent ceremonial center. We visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace between others. We will enter one of the most important convents of the seventeenth century, the Santo Domingo Convent, where the relics of the three Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macías are still preserved. After the visit to Lima we will taste a lunch. Then we will continue our tour through the traditional district of Barranco, appreciate the Central Park, the Bajada de los Baños, the Old Library, the "ranchos" or colonial houses, the traditional Bridge of Sighs and its famous Boulevard which is the most bohemian expression of the nightlife in Lima. Continuing with our tour we will take the South Pan-American Highway, to arrive at Pachacamac, the most important ceremonial center of the coast of Peru in pre-Hispanic times. Here we can appreciate its various constructions made in clay dating from different centuries. Throughout time, Pachacamac was occupied by different cultures such as the Lima culture, the Wari culture, the Ichma culture, until the Inca Empire (15th century). Among the constructions that we will visit, include the Temple of Adobitos (1st century AD), the Old Temple of Pachacamac (1st century AD), the New or Painte Temple (8th century AD), the Pyramids with ramp (13th century AD), the Temple of the Sun (15th century AD), among other important constructions. Finishing our tour back to the hotel. Morning or afternoon free for personal activities. Accommodation in Lima at the designated hotel.

Day 03: Lima / Cusco 

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board the flight to the city of Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon for acclimatization to the height. Accommodation in Cusco at the designated hotel. 

Meals: Breakfast.

 

Day 04: Cusco - City Tour Cusco & Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuamán - Cusco

Free morning for personal activities. In the afternoon, we will begin our visit to the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco. You can admire the wonderful Inca and Spanish legacy of the colony. Visit among other attractions the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha on which the Santo Domingo Convent was built, you can also admire the Plaza de Armas and its colonial architectural legacies. Finished the visit to the city we will go to the outskirts to be able to appreciate the four more important archaeological rest like Sacsayhuamán, Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Return to the city. Accommodation in Cusco at the designated hotel.

Day 05: Cusco/Machu Picchu/Cusco

Very early, we will go to the railway station, to board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes and station of the same name. In this station, our staff will assist you to board the bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu (meaning "Old Mountain" in Quechua), considered a masterpiece of Inca architecture and engineering. Our wonder of the world is at 2,450 m.a.s.l. In our guided, we will be able to appreciate all its majesty. After the visit, we will go down to the village to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Finished the tour return to the city. Accommodation in the city of Cusco at the designated hotel.

Day 06: Cusco / Puerto Maldonado / Hacienda Concepcion

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board the flight to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Arrival, reception and transfer starting the journey navigating along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción. We will enjoy a beautiful walk through the "Trochas Concepción", here we will learn about the primary and secondary forest, its components, uses, transformations made by man, and its relevance to the world. At dusk we can take a canoe ride navigating the Madre de Dios River in the excursion "Rio de Noche", we will know its ecosystem, Amazonian streams, and behavior of the nocturnal fauna and the southern constellations. In the evening, wewill enjoy dinner in the dining room of the Casa Grande. Overnight at Hacienda Concepción.

Day 07: Hacienda Concepcion

We get ready for a long walk along the Tambopata National Reserve to Lake Sandoval, here we will understand why Madre de Dios is known as the biodiversity capital of Peru. Afterwards, we prepare for the "Inkaterra Canopy Walkway & Anaconda Walk", we will do a canoe trip to the Interpretation Center where we will know about its construction and projects; Later we will ascend to one of the two 30 meter towers, cross the 7 hanging bridges that connect the treetops to 28 meters high and from the top we will enjoy the majestic views. At night we will live the adventure in the "Hidden Forest" where we will explore the Amazon rainforest that gives way to nightlife. We will listen to the sounds of nature that lives at night while we enter this hidden world. Overnight at Hacienda Concepción.

Day 08: Hacienda Concepcion/Puerto Maldonado/Lima

In the morning we will have a canoe trip back to Puerto Maldonado where we will visit the Inkaterra Lounge, here we can relax and wait for the return flight while we visit this beautiful Butterfly Garden, we will know a little more about the fascinating transformation of these colorful insects , which are reproduced in the laboratory that is there. We move to the airport to take your flight to the city of Lima, arrival and direct connection with your international flight.
